Navy Information Operations Command (NIOC) Pensacola commemorated the 50th anniversary of the capture of the U.S.S. Pueblo on January 26th, 2018. NIOC Pensacola welcomed CTRCS John D. Layton, USN (Ret.) as a guest of honor for the event; Mr. Layton was one of the 83 crew members who were on the Pueblo when it was attacked by North Korea, and suffered imprisonment and torture for 11 months.
