Secretary of Defense James N. Mattis visited the U.S. Pacific Command area of responsibility right after the release of America's new National Defense Strategy.
During his trip, he met with defense leaders from Indonesia and Vietnam. The trip concluded with a visit to U.S. Pacific Command and a bi-lateral meeting with Republic of Korea Defense Minister Song Young-Moo.
