After a sexual assault there is a 168-hour window for the victim to call for a sexual assault exam. During this time the Sexual Assault Medical Forensic Examiner team at Winn Army Community Hospital are on the scene, ready to help the victim navigate the exam process. To ensure that SAMFE team is ready, they participate in an annual clinical competency exam training.
The following story includes re-enactments of training scenarios - all victims are MEDDAC volunteers.
