Culture and tradition...for several decades the Coast Guard has been invited to participate in the Makahiki Games held on Molokai, Hawaii, as they did again Jan. 27, 2018. These games celebrate peace and continue the traditions of the Hawaiian people. Reintroduced 36 years ago, the Molokai games are the most well attended in Hawaii. Come along with us as the crews of the USCGC Galveston Island (WPB 1349) and the USCGC Kittiwake (WPB 87316) participate in this year's games!
