Seaman Erin Hughes, a nonrated Coast Guard service member stationed at Base Seattle, Washington, explains how she balances her job in the shipping and receiving office along with her friendship outside of the workplace. Outside of work, Hughes and her fellow shipmate, Seaman Apprentice Meagan Cornett, attend concerts, workout, cook food and watch television together.
