A KC-135 Stratotanker and its aircrew assigned to the 340th Expeditionary Air Refueling Squadron Detachment 1, refuel A-10 Warthogs during a flight in support of Operation Freedom's Sentinel March 12, 2018. The A-10s, along with other U.S. Air Force assets, were realigned to Kandahar Airfield in January to meet increased airpower requirements in support of Afghan and U.S. forces tasked to carry out Operation Freedom's Sentinel and the NATO Resolute Support missions.
