Athletes competed in cycling for the 2018 Marine Corps trials on Holcomb Boulevard at Camp Lejeune, N.C., March 18, 2018. The competition was split into three events: 30k upright, 20k recumbent and a 10k hand cycling race. U.S. Marine service members, veterans and retirees competed with six other nations during the event. The Marine Corps Trials promotes recovery and rehabilitation through adaptive sport participation and develops camaraderie among recovering service members (RSMs) and veterans. It is as an opportunity for RSMs to demonstrate their achievements and serves as the primary venue to select Marine Corps participants for the DoD Warrior Games. (U.S. Marine Corps Photo by Sgt.
