Pennsylvania Army National Guard Soldiers and one Hawaii National Guard Soldier attended a cadre-lead Pathfinder Course at Fort Indiantown Gap March 3-17. The course consisted of three stages: sling load, helicopter landing, and drop zone phases. The course concluded with a three day field training exercise during the drop zone phase. Students learned to perform tasks involving CH-47 Chinooks, including sling load operations and communicating with aircraft pilots to call in door bundle air drops.
