Soldiers with the 688th Engineer Company, 489th Engineer Battalion, 420th Engineer Brigade, 416th Theater Engineer Command set up mine fields with the use of the volcano system at Fort Drum, New York, March 22, 2018 as part of Operation Ready Force Breach. This combat support tactical exercise validates the proficiency and combat readiness of the 688th Eng. Co. personnel in order to participate in worldwide contingency operations.
