Air Force Installation and Mission Support Center

The Air Force Civil Engineer Center is leading the Air Force's effort to protect Airmen by eliminating the need for ADAT teams (Airfield Damage Assessment Team) after an enemy attack. They're doing that by training operational civil engineers to use small aerial drones to assess danger as part of Rapid Airfield Damage Assessment System... or "RAY-DASS". AFIMSC Public Affairs Specialist--Brian Goddin--explains and takes us to the first ever class of its kind taught by AFCEC.
