Disaster can strike at any moment. You can't predict it, you can't prevent it, but you can prepare for it. During a traumatic incident preparedness and knowledge can be the difference between life and death. Members of the 49th Civil Engineer Squadron Explosive Ordnance Disposal Flight learned life-saving medical skills during Pre-hospital Trauma Life Support training. This course provided the technicians with the knowledge to treat someone while waiting for higher medical authorities, in the event of a traumatic incident.
