Oklahoma Army National Guard Troopers with 1st Squadron, 180th Cavalry Regiment, 45th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, currently deployed as part of the Kabul Security Force in support of the NATO-led train, advise and assist Resolute Support Mission, bring a 17-year tradition to Kabul, Afghanistan on Friday, April 27, 2018, by conducting a 5-kilometer (5K) ‘Run to Remember’ in conjunction with the Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon held in Oklahoma City each year. The 5K included approximately 200 Soldiers and civilians from the U.S., U.K., Denmark, Mongolia and more.
