U.S. Marine Corps Brig. Gen. Kevin J. Killea, commanding general, Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Calif. hosts the 2nd annual Camp Pendleton Historic Ride on May 5, 2018. The Historic Ride is held to afford participants the opportunity to to see Camp Pendleton from horseback. The route taken pays homage to its evolution from the Rancho Santa Margarita y Las Flores Ranch in 1841 to the Marine Corps’ premier training base on the West Coast. (U.S. Marine Corps video by Cpl.
