The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives' National Canine Division teaches working dogs new skills during the three-day National Odor Recognition Training and Testing on Naval Weapons Station Fallbrook, Calif., May 23, 2018. The purpose of NORT is to standardize training for explosive detection dogs by exposing them to a series of components used in homemade explosives they may be unfamiliar with. On the second day of training, handlers had their dogs sniff multiple tubes and find different ingredients used to make explosives. (U.S. Marine Corps video by Cpl. Lukas Kalinauskas)
