As part of the combined U.S. Army Japan and Japan Engineer District Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) initiative, JED's members mentored Zama American Middle-High School students as they prepared to compete in the inaugural First Tech Challenge held on May 19. FTC was held for the first time in Department of Defense Education Activity Pacific. It is a high school national level competition in the United States.
