In 2018, the 98th Training Division (Initial Entry Training) turns 100 years old.
The U.S. Army Reserve Division is currently headquartered at Fort Benning, Georgia. However, its original roots started in New York. This history video series, which is in three parts, is from a division video created on VHS over 26 years ago and digitized for historical purposes.
Though it is not the best transferred quality, we thought the veterans of the 98th would enjoy it nonetheless. The video was created under the direction of the then Public Affairs Officer, Lt. Col. Bruce Tyo. It was written and narrated by Master Sgt. Anthony DeBellis. Stay tuned for Part 2 in this three-part series. (Video had to be broken apart due to length and DVIDS rules.)
