Washington National Guardsmen from the 176th Engineer Company based out of Snohomish,
Washington receive their equipment needed to fight wildfires in eastern Washington. On July 31
Governor Inslee issued a proclamation which authorized the use of the National Guard to help
fight wildfires. The guardsmen mustered at Camp Murray to begin the process of entering
state active duty.
