180809-Z-CV219-001 CAMP GRAYLING (August 9, 2018) - World War II veteran, Claude Cawood, from Monroe Michigan recently had an opportunity to visit with field artillery Soldiers at Northern Strike on Aug. 9, 2018 at Camp Grayling, Mich. Rhode Island Army National Guard Soldiers from Battery A, 1st Battalion, 103rd Field Artillery Regiment are participating in the Northern Strike exercise. Cawood, a former section chief on the M105 Howitzer had a unique opportunity to visit Soldiers and fire an M777 Howitzer at the Camp Grayling Joint Maneuver Training Center.
