The 103rd Field Artillery Regiment with the Rhode Island Army National Guard is completing their annual training and providing fire support to exercise Northern Strike at Camp Grayling, Mich. At the end of their training, the 103rd FA is going to hold a memorial ceremony to commemorate the 100th anniversary of their participation in World War I. The ceremony will take place on Aug. 24, 2018, in downtown Providence, R.I. Originally founded as the Providence Marine Corps of Artillery in 1801, the 103rd FA has served with distinction in various conflicts and has a rich history of military service.
