Air Force Secretary Heather A. Wilson, Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. David L. Goldfein, and Chief Master Sgt. of the Air Force Kaleth O. Wright honor the combat actions of fallen Air Force Tech. Sgt. John A. Chapman at his induction ceremony into the Medal of Honor Hall of Heroes at the Pentagon, Aug. 23, 2018. Chapman was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor at a White House ceremony, Aug. 22, 2018. He's honored for his extraordinary heroism during the Battle of Takur Ghar, Afghanistan, in March 2002.
