World War II veteran Arthur Shearer reflects on his service during a virtual tour of the few of the Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island monuments.
The MCRD Parris Island monuments stand as a reminder of those who fought in battle and shaped the future of the Marine Corps. Those monuments include the Iron Mike Monument, the Iwo Jima Monument, Drill Instructor Monument, Molly Marine Monument, and the Purple Heart Monument. During the virtual tour, World War II veteran Arthur Shearer reflects on his time in service and what advice he would give future generations of service members. (U.S. Marine Corps video by Cpl.
