As part of the FEMA directed mission assignment the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Temporary Emergency Power mission installed approximately 1300 generators at critical public facilities, but today that number has been reduced to about 80 as grid power has been restored.
USACE Temporary Emergency Power Planning and Response Teams assist with assessments, maintenance, and generator installations at critical facilities, including, but not limited to: hospitals, wastewater treatment plants, water purification facilities, fire, and police stations.
