The Fisher House of Alaska opened the second house on JBER, Sept. 10, 2018.
Since opening in 2012, the 12-suite Fisher House has been at maximum capacity. As a remedy, the Fisher House Foundation ordered a second Fisher House be built on JBER in 2017. With the new addition of a 16-room Fisher House, a total of 28 rooms can accommodate those in need.
