    Two HH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crews began search and rescue patrols in the areas of the North Carolina coast affected by Hurricane Florence, Sept. 14, 2018. During the 12 hour patrols, the helicopter crews conducted a medevac of a critically ill person and, under direction from local emergency operations centers, searched for people who might need assistance, all while being impacted by tropical storm force winds and rain.
