FEMA directed USACE to have the central responsibility for purchase and distribution of all bill of material (BOM) for the grid restoration mission. As part of the $420.5 million mission a total of 51.5 million pieces of material, including over 60,000 poles and 8,500 miles of conductor wire, has been issued.
The Corps of Engineers continues to coordinate with PREPA to identify materials to replace bench stock and complete last-mile work, and to Finish Strong for the people of Puerto Rico.
