Marines with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 262 (Reinforced) suspend a Humvee from a CH-53E Super Stallion helicopter during helicopter support team training while aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD 1), underway in the South China Sea, Oct. 1, 2018. Marines with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit conduct HST training to rehearse delivering supplies to forward-deployed Marines across long distances via air. The 31st MEU, the Marine Corps' only continuously forward-deployed MEU, provides a flexible force ready to perform a wide variety of military operations in the Indo Pacific region.
