    Drill instructors and recruits from Platoon 3086, Company M remember the nine Marines from the same platoon who were killed in action in 1966 during the Vietnam War.

    The memorial plaque, dedicated in 2011, was made at the request of the platoon's senior drill instructor and represents the bond between drill instructors and their recruits.
