In 1968, President Lyndon Johnson directed the Department of Defense to activate National Guard units in response to North Korea's capture of the USS Pueblo. The Colorado Air National Guard's 140th Wing and 120th Tactical Fighter Squadron were the first to be called up. This video was produced to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the activation in October, 2018. It allowed a few members of the expedition to re-tell some of their stories.
