U.S. Marine Lt. Col. Daniel Zappa speaks to an audience about his experience as a brain cancer survivor at Duke University, Durham, North Carolina, October 5, 2018. Zappa was invited to deliver a speech regarding his treatment and life post surgery, aimed to inspire them about their futures even when it seems helpless. He actually received surgery at Duke University's Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center, and some of those who attended were involved in the process of his treatment.
