U.S. Marines with 1st Tank Battalion, 1st Marine Division conduct their quarterly Noncommissioned Officer Day where NCOs fill the positions of the battalions key leaders i.e. Battalion Commander, Sergeant Major, Executive Officer, etc., at Marine Corps Air-Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms, Calif. Sept. 28, 2018. The purpose of creating this unique experience is for NCOs to see first-hand the routines and daily tasks of the battalion leaders in hopes the small unit leaders will instill this knowledge unto the other Marines in the Battalion.
