Camp Ravenna Joint Military Training Center was officially renamed Camp James A. Garfield during an Oct. 18, 2018, ceremony. One of the Ohio Army National Guard's three joint military training centers, Camp Ravenna was renamed to Camp Garfield to honor the legacy of the 20th U.S. president and Ohio National Guard major general, along with the commitment and sacrifice of his family to the state of Ohio and the nation.
