Hill Air Force Base, UT, expressively honored all veterans with this social media tribute video and was the final product in a Veteran Spotlight campaign for Veterans Day 2018. The daily campaign highlighted nine local veterans from various branches of service who served in World War II, the Korean War, Vietnam War, Operation Desert Storm (Persian Gulf War) Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF – War in Afghanistan), and Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF – War in Iraq). Each day in November leading up to Veterans Day had a custom graphic design and accompanied a daily featured article spotlighting a veteran on the base website, and was also used on social media to create awareness along with links to the spotlighted individual. They were collectively published in the Hilltop Times, a weekly newspaper publication at Hill AFB since 1948. The capstone of the campaign was this video spot and was distributed on Veterans Day via social media to educate viewers the names and dates of all the conflicts in which the United States was involved.
