Sgt. Anthony Heinauer with the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit's Service Pistol Team sends his holiday message to friends and family back home to Southern Pines, North Carolina.
Heinauer, who was born at Fort Steward, Georgia, joined the Army in 2014 and has won a number of marksmanship competitions over the years. Of recent, Heinauer competed on the winning USAMU Team that claimed the 2018 CMP Gold Cup Trophy, which goes to the overall winning team in the National Trophy Team Match during the Civilian Marksmanship Program’s National Pistol Matches at Camp Perry, Ohio.
