Aircrew of the 211th Rescue Squadron HC-130J Combat King II and Pararescuemen of the 212th Rescue Squadron surveyed the damage of a 7.0-magnitude earthquake that struck Southcentral Alaska. The 176th Wing Guardsmen surveyed Anchorage, Wasilla, Palmer, Whittier, Seward, Valdez and Homer.
