The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Buffalo District is constructing a new sea lamprey barrier at the Harpersfield Dam in Geneva, Ohio to prevent lamprey migration upriver. Current work takes advantage of a water diversion system serving as a temporary dam. Project completion is targeted for 2020. This project will not impact the historic bridge.
In short, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is #BuildingStrong and #MovingDirt.
