PACIFIC OCEAN (Nov. 16, 2018) Lt. Kristin Rovito and Damage Controlman 1st Class Vincent Vargas explain why damage contol is the entire crew's responsibility aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Spruance (DDG 106). Spruance is currently conducting routine operations as part of Carrier Strike Group (CSG) 3 in the U.S. Pacific Fleet area of operations.
