Along with emergency responders from across the country, soldiers and airmen with the California National Guard's two civil support teams are participating in the 2019 Bay Exercise. BAYEX is a multi agency exercise including out of state resources for the purpose of improving interagency coordination while maintaining a high level of technical and tactical chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) proficiency. BAYEX runs from Jan. 27 - Feb. 1, 2019, in the San Francisco Bay Area. Locations include Alcatraz, Millbrae BART station, Oakland Coliseum, Camp Baker in Marin County and Richmond. Civil support teams from the Idaho, Nevada and Oregon National Guards also participated. (U.S. Army National Guard video by Christian Jadot)
