The U.S. Coast Guard commissions the Coast Guard Cutter Robert Ward in San Francisco, March 2, 2019. The Robert Ward is the second of four fast-response cutters to be homeported at Coast Guard Base Los Angeles-Long Beach. Though the cutter will be based in Southern California, it will operate throughout the 11th Coast Guard District, which includes all of California and international waters off Mexico and Central America.
