The Kigali Genocide Memorial is the final resting place for more than 250,000 victims of the Genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda. It honors the memory of the more than one million Rwandans killed in 1994 through education
and peace-building. Members of the African Partnership Flight Rwanda participated in a wreath laying ceremony to honor the victims and reflect on the impacts the genocide had on the country. The event served as a reminder of how everyone has a personal responsibility to prevent discrimination and mass atrocity.
