U.S. Marines with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 164, Marine Aircraft Group 39, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, conduct an MV-22 Osprey hung gear malfunction drill at Marine Corps Air Station Camp Pendleton, California, March 12, 2019. The drill simulated an emergency landing due to an aircraft landing gear malfunction and provided the Marines an opportunity to train on the emergency procedures in the event of a mishap.
