A C-17A Globemaster III aircrew assigned to the 3rd Airlift Squadron, Dover Air Force Base, Del., conducts air refueling and pre-coordinated breakaway training with a Boeing KC-46A Pegasus on March 22, 2019 near Fairchild Air Force Base, Wash. The training marks the first time a Dover AFB aircraft and 3rd Airlift Squadron C-17 has refueled with the new KC-46 tanker, increasing the aircrews experience and testing the full operational capability of the KC-46 Pegasus. Several 3AS crews are scheduled to train on the new refueling platform over the next few months. (U.S. Air Force video by Tech. Sgt. Laura Beckley).
