190327-N-RI884-1001 PHILIPPINE SEA (March 25, 2019) An F-35B Lightning II aircraft, assigned to Marine Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA) 121, lands on the flight deck of the amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD 1). Wasp, flagship of Wasp Amphibious Ready Group, is operating in the Indo-Pacific region to enhance interoperability with partners and serve as a lethal ready-response force for any type of contingency.
