Kuwait Land Forces hosted their partners, the Qatari Emiri Land Force and the U.S. Army to conduct a trilateral command-post exercise called Desert Leopard II. Desert Leopard began as a bilateral exercise between Kuwait and Qatar. In December, 2018, leaders of the Kuwait Land Forces invited members of U.S. Army Central Command’s Task Force Spartan to participate in the exercise, growing Desert Leopard II to include three nations. Over the course of five days, the three nations tested their interoperability in a simulated Joint Operations Center.
