Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC) launched its tenth Wideband Global SatCom (WGS) at Cape Canaveral, Florida. The satellite is a partnership between the US Air Force and US Army. The launch completes the WGS constellation originally planned and becomes the highest military communication system in the United States. The video interviews personnel from SMC, the US Army, and Boeing. This launch is also the second-to-last launch for the Delta IV rocket before it’s retirement from service.
