Unified Command representatives were able to cut a piece of the hull from the Coimbra to conduct testing on it in order to determine the best means of access the tanks still aboard the Coimbra. The Coimbra was a supply ship owned by Great Britain during World War II. The Coimbra sank off the coast of Long Island after a German U-boat torpedoed the ship in January 1942. (FOR RELEASE.
