In this video we pay tribute to the life and legacy of Dr. Olivia Hooker, 103, a pioneer in the history of women and minorities in the U.S. Coast Guard and the Nation. She dedicated her life to serving others and became the first African-American female to enlist in the Coast Guard SPARs and at the age of 95, began volunteering in the Coast Guard Auxiliary.
