A deployment ceremony was held at the Smyrna Readiness Center for nearly 15 soldiers of the 198th Expeditionary Signal Battalion who are headed to Southwest Asia. Delaware Governor John Carney, Delaware Senator Tom Carper and the Delaware National Guard Adjutant General, Brigadier General Michael Berry were in attendance.
