A Company, 116th Brigade Engineer Battalion's M1150 Assault Breacher Vehicle live fires mine clearing line charges (MICLIC) to sweep battlefields of improvised explosive devices during their training at the National Training Center (NTC) at Ft. Irwin, Calif. The rocket-projected MICLIC is able to clear approximately eight meters wide by 100 meters long through a detonated explosion.
The 116th Cavalry Brigade Combat Team is training at NTC May 24 - June 20 to prepare for its wartime mission. The rotation builds unit and Soldier proficiency to provide combatant commanders with a trained and ready force capable of fighting and winning our nation's wars.
