Gan Tsetseg explains the vital training involved to prepare service members to support peacekeeping operations around the world during the staff training event as part of Khaan Quest 2019 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, June 17, 2019. Tsetseg recently returned from a peacekeeping mission in South Sudan and is with the Army Headquarters, Mongolian Armed Forces. Khaan Quest helps show the importance of equal participation of women in peacekeeping operations. Their involvement is vital to preventing conflict and moderating violent extremism, counter terrorism and resolving conflict, and building post-conflict or crisis peace and stability.
