U.S. Marine Col. Robert Meade, the commanding officer of Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force - Southern Command, talks about the significance of the task force’s deployment to Latin America and the Caribbean after the opening ceremony June 21, 2019, at Soto Cano Air Base, Honduras. The Marines and Sailors of SPMAGTF-SC will be conducting training and engineering projects alongside partner nation military forces in Latin America and the Caribbean during their deployment.
